My 2024 Feel-Great Gift Guide

What's On Your Wish List?

Ho-Ho-Holy cow, how can there only be two weeks until Christmas?! Anyone else still have the entirety of their list to shop for??

While I appreciate a thoughtful present as much as anyone, I truly believe the best gifts are the ones that create lasting memories and give us a little boost to being our best selves.

Seriously, how much more stuff is really worth the space it takes up crammed into our homes, closets, and purses?!

This year, l want to focus on giving experiences that promote health and well-being, both for ourselves and our loved ones. Afterall, the holidays can be a bittersweet time for some. We might be missing loved ones who are no longer with us or are ill, or we might be starting to make a list of resolutions for the upcoming year. So, let's give gifts that nurture the body, mind, and spirit!

Here are some of my favorite, most used, and most worth-the-space- they-take-up goodies that make thoughtful gifts for your shopping list!

  • For the one who likes to read : Breath by James Nestor. Reading this book back in 2023 was a game changer. This entertaining and informative read opened my eyes to the importance of breathing properly for physical and mental health. It also inspired me to start mouth taping at night which greatly improved my sleep this past year!

  • For the one with big goals: journals . Whether plain bound notebooks or beautiful quote-filled day planners, journals promote mindfulness, self-discovery, and reaching personal goals. Classics like Moleskine never go out of style, or for someone looking for more inspiration check out Danielle LaPorte’s Heart Centered Planner.

  • For the one who wants to groove: fitness classes. Gifting a loved one a yoga, pilates, or dance fitness classes (online or in-person!) is a fantastic way to spark joy and get your loved ones moving. After all, there's nothing quite like the energy and camaraderie of a good dance workout! Plus, it's a gift that keeps on giving – the gift of health, confidence, and maybe even a new best friend in class! Simply send me a message to inquire about purchasing a gift certificate to my in-person or online classes for your buddy!

  • For the one with aches and pains: foam rollers. For the fitness enthusiast in your life or that person who needs to release more pressure, a foam roller is a game-changer. It helps to ease muscle soreness, improve mobility, and promote overall recovery. I use this one many times per week!

  • For the one who loves fashion: workout clothing. Fitness apparel is a practical and stylish gift that might just make you more excited for your next workout. You know I love the Taiwanese, female owned brand AMME and also enjoy the eye-catching gear from Zumba!

  • For the one who likes to cook: spices. For the foodie in your life, consider healthy and flavorful spices that will make cooking more delicious and enjoyable! Right now I’m super into adding Trader Joe's mushroom umami seasoning with its rich, savory taste to just about any dish, as well as nutritional yeast which is a fantastic source of B vitamins and a delicious topping for salads and popcorn.

  • For the one who needs to chill out: candles. If you know me, you know I can never get enough candles! Something about the soft light, beautiful scents, and warm glow does wonders for my stress and mood! I love a holiday scent around this time of year like this one from Yankee Candle or a fresh clean scent that can work for anytime of year!

I hope this list gives you some inspiration for feel-good gifts this season! Remember, the most important thing is to choose a gift that reflects your care for your loved one’s wellbeing!

Together let’s help each other have a healthy and happy holiday season!

Keep moving!

xx,

Katie
