All I Want For Christmas Is... To dance with you!

UnWrap The Gift Of Music and Movement with us!

There’s a little jingle in my step this week!  🔔

With just a week to go, I’ve finally caught some of that holiday spirit! It wasn’t the cookies (yes, I’ve had quite a few!) or the crowded shopping malls that did it either.

It was having the chance to connect, recall familiar memories and make some new ones that left me feeling magically merry at last!

And what was the key for me?

Music and naturally,  a bit of movement, too!

First, this past weekend I had the pleasure of helping to instruct at a large  Zumba Christmas party along with many other amazing Zumba lovers. It was such a heartwarming experience to connect with fellow instructors, sharing our own special holiday traditions that span different cultures, dancing to some of our favorite holiday tunes—and even learning some new ones! The joy on participants’ and teachers’ faces alike was a beautiful reminder of how important  music and movement is in uniting people from across the globe!

Then, just yesterday I finally got around to taking out my small, but festive collection of Christmas decorations to put up at home. The best part? I put on my oldest and most favorite kids’ Christmas songs (“Wee Sing For Christmas” anyone?), and instantly, I was transported back to my childhood, dancing around the house, laughing, and singing with my sisters.

It really hit me – whether we’re celebrating old memories or creating new ones, so much of it revolves around the feeling that music brings. It’s a feeling that transcends cultures and languages.

That's exactly what I’m hoping to create with our three Christmas-themed Zumba classes later this week. I envision a space filled with energy, laughter, and the joy of movement, all set to a festive soundtrack that will have you feeling merry and bright. These classes aren't just workouts; they’re mini Christmas parties! Think of them as a chance to:

  • Gift yourself some "me time": Amidst the holiday hustle, carve out an hour to de-stress, recharge, and do something you love. It's the best gift you can give yourself!

  • Connect with your community: Share the joy of movement with friends, old and new. These classes are a great way to connect with like-minded people and create new holiday memories together.

  • Embrace the festive spirit: Let the music and energy lift your spirits and get you in the Christmas mood. It's a fun way to celebrate the season and burn off  some energy!

So if you are in Taipei, come help us  celebrate both old and new memories and traditions at our in-person Zumba Christmas classes:

Aren’t able to join? Enjoy my Christmas Zumba Playlist that will get you rocking around your Christmas tree!

I truly believe that movement is a gift, and I can't wait to share that gift with you this Christmas. I especially encourage you to invite your friends and family to come along! Let’s make some unforgettable memories together!

Keep moving!

xx,

Katie
