A Bumpy Beginning to My Summer Break

… but still

keeping you moving !

In spite of accidentally injuring myself, I soaked up a gorgeous Taipei day!

No regrets and no moments wasted!

As you may have heard if you’ve been coming to classes, I’m gearing up for a long overdue trip back to the US to see my family for three weeks! After nearly three years away and a whole lot of time spent constantly trying to adapt during the time of COVID, some time off is much needed!

What I hadn’t planned for this summer, was not being able to teach this last week before I head off home. This past weekend while rounding up my birthday celebrations, I went wake boarding and injured my knee making it impossible to dance. As I wait to get more information on the extent of the injury and how long it will take to recover, I’m reminded again about the importance of making peace with things beyond my control and exercising patience and appreciation towards my body. Whether it’s working towards any goal, starting a new habit or trying to get back after an injury, sometimes all we can do is take things one day at a time!

During the past two and a half years, it’s been my aim to keep as many people happy and active as possible, no matter where you are located in the world, if in-person classes were able

to be held, or what your schedule is.

This time is no different.

While I’ll be taking a break from live teaching until at least the end of the first week of August, I still want to provide you with your daily dose of dance, fitness, and fun! I will be continuing to post pre-recorded classes with my favorite routines filmed from over the past two and half years which will be available from Sunday to Saturday all day long. ( That’s right, we’re adding Sunday in during the holiday!)

If you want to keep dancing along and show your support during these next four weeks, make sure to sign up for classes here! Please note, Anna and I will both be “out of the office “ from 7/12- 7/24, so we ask that for any classes you want to take during this time, that you sign up BEFORE 7/11 at 8pm Taiwan time.

I’m so looking forward to a month ahead of renewed inspiration, family love, relaxation, and regaining my strength. I can’t wait to come back after this time better, stronger and more refreshed to keep you moving!

Thanks again for all of your well-wishes, love and support, and hope to see you on the dance floor soon!

xx,

Katie
